The elusive fisher-folk who inhabit small villages along the Brandywine river delta. They rarely trade with outside cultures, preferring instead to gather all that they need from the land and sea. They are extremely wary of outsiders, but hold blond-headed people in near-worshipful high regard due to the rarity of yellow-haired people amongst their own kin.

The Saoirse are characterized by playfulness, whimsy, curiosity, and a deep love of the sea. They worship the Vala Ulmo and his Maiar, Ossë and Uinen, though they know them by different names. The Saoirse claim to be descended from selkies.

The first and only scholar to ever study them extensively is Nallo the Elder, who published an extensive paper on their culture and history.
